Continue reading »]]> Yes, I am actually sharing this. This tax is not a good one. All it's going to do is put the smaller device makers out of business and raise the cost of healthcare for everyone.

Need a vaccine shot? The syringe will cost more. Need braces? They will cost more. Need that reconstructive surgery for your newly born child who has a cleft lip? Yup, you guessed it, it's going to cost much more.

Taxing medical device makers is not going to help things, it only makes things worse.

Continue reading »]]> She looks so much better. Here's a few shots her her and her cuteness. First she just sat there and posed for me, then she decided that one photo was enough and it was time to play, so, CHARGE!

The last shot was after she was done playing for a while and decided to just lay there and let me snap a few more photos. I went ahead and added the macro lens filter I have and went in for the closer that close closeup.

Please everyone in the legitimate medical community, please acknowledge the very real condition known as 'Capitas Inrectus Maximus'! Let us all lobby for funding to find a cure or at least take these people off the road!

Directional signals, stop signs and traffic lights are not 'optional road items'!

There is a tree near where I work that I photographed last fall, calling it "The Golden Tree". I photographed the same tree a few weeks later, when a nicely thick fog had visited the area and last week I took a nice shot of the same tree again, this time in full springtime splendor.

So, enjoy one of the views I get to see everyday!

Continue reading »]]> I picked up a macro lens attachment for my camera and was playing with it last night. Annie, our dog, decided to help me and take an up close sniff.

I used my Olympus E-300 Volt with the Olympus 14-45mm f/1:3.5-5.6 Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens and a Vivitar .43X wide angle lens converter with macro kit using just the macro section of the kit.
