Make it 40 cm long, and you'll have a test tool to identify what we in Denmark call "Fejl 40" ("Error 40"), that is, the error is located 40 cm in front of the screen…

As long as they didn't partner him with someone with the handle "Switch" after that :P

Works good when dealing with pilots as well…..

A Clue by Four to the back of the head, or "Error 40" ?

Because, I must admit, I'd think twice before using the Clue By Four until the pilot HAS landed the plane…

Well, typically I don't use it until they park the plane, and then try to explain to me why they broke it!

That reminds me of a series of "error report exchanges" between pilots and mechanics, supposedly from Qantas, though I'm certain it's not genuine. Still pretty funny :)

LOL.. I have seen those floating around. I have seen some DUMB write ups in my time. The funniest was a noob writing up the radio, he said it didn't work in the Official mode, I looked at him funny, and said offical mode? He said yea, it didn't work in the OFF mode.. I nearly fell off the aircraft ladder laughing… His handle for the rest of the time was OFF!
